I’m making progress on the baby sweater. I don’t know why it looks so holey in the picture, it doesn’t in read life. I hope you can see how it is starting to take shape. At this point, I am binding off one stitch at the beginning of each row to shape the neckline, and I have about an inch, inch and a half to go. Then I have to add the collar, and do some garter stitch on the sleeves. I’d like to add matching booties and a hat but probably won’t get those done in time.

Ready to wash Ivy’s fleece today. This is most of it, I have maybe 5 more “sausages” left to do after I get these done, I ran out of tulle to wrap them up. There are 15 here. It is so pretty. I can’t wait to comb some of it and see how it looks. Posted by Picasa

Well, the biggest change around here is that I have started a diet. Well, really, I hate diets. It’s not so much that I plan on changing how I eat, but how much I eat. I refuse to be the person who makes everyone miserable at Thanksgiving by insisting everything be “diet” food. I have started keeping daily logs of what I am eating, and measuring amounts. I was eating way over what is considered a portion, so hopefully just eating smaller amounts will help a lot. My biggest problem though is that after about 6 in the evening, I get really hungry. I’m going to try to keep from cheating, but the temptation is there. I know I can do it though.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.
